FOIL / Records Requests

New York’s Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) gives the public a right to request access to government records, subject to the law’s exemptions.

Submit a request

Send a written request to the Village Clerk:

  • Email: clerk@villageoftully.us
  • Mail: Village of Tully, PO Box 1028, Tully, NY 13159
  • In person: 5833 Meetinghouse Road, Tully, NY 13159

What to include

  • Use the subject line “FOIL Request.”
  • Describe the records as specifically as possible, including dates, names, locations, and document types.
  • State whether you want to inspect records or receive copies.
  • Include your contact information and preferred delivery method.

The Village is not required to create a new record in response to a request. Available records may also be found in the website’s document archive, minutes, codes, budgets, and public notices.
