Topic: Water and Sewer bills.
Some Village residents have gotten their water/sewer bills at the same time as they have gotten their tax bills. This had led to a question of whether they are being double charged.

The answer is No, the bills are for different items. The water/sewer bill is for your usage or minimum charge. The tax bill represents the payment on the voted bond taken out for the water line improvements years ago, and the sewer charge is for the capital improvements on the sewer plant.

These are separate and correct charges, but due to the timing, we can see the confusion.
