FAREWELL TO AN OUTSTANDING VILLAGE CLERK

Every organization has that long serving individual who, during their tenure, becomes what numerous people consider to be indispensable. Such a remarkable person is Ruth Van Buskirk, who has performed the duties of the Tully Village Clerk for twenty-two impressive years. Effective November 29th, Ruth is retiring from her post and moving on to the next chapter of her life and spending more time with her family. In the words of Mayor Erin Goodfellow and the village trustees, “Thank you, Ruth, for your years of service and dedication to our village and helping it run smoothly.”

The Village of Tully is pleased to welcome Maureen Bibik to the Village Clerk position, November 29. Maureen is a longtime Tully resident and has been training as deputy clerk under Ruth’s guidance for the last three months.

“Mo”, as she likes to be referred to, attended Suny Morrisville twenty-five years ago and was then employed by various state agencies, prior to becoming a “full-time mom” for many years.
