Dear Village Residents and Business Owners,

   We would like to inform you of an upcoming adjustment to water and sewer billing rates, which will take effect beginning in October 2026. This change is necessary to support essential infrastructure needs and to maintain the reliability of our community’s water and sewer systems.

   Effective October, the minimum bill for single-family residences will be $586.11, covering usage up to 3,000 cubic feet of water. This includes a water minimum consumption charge of $179.37 (subject to increase for usage exceeding 3,000 cubic feet) and a sewer charge of $406.74 for one unit. These rates are established to ensure continued service provision and are consistent with the Village’s approved 2026–2027 fiscal year budget.

    As part of the budgeting process completed in April 2026, the Village Board approved revenue targets of $548,889 in sewer fees and $242,126 in water fees. The fees collected through water and sewer billing are essential for covering the Village’s operating expenses, as well as the maintenance and repairs required to keep our wastewater treatment plant and systems in good working order.

    A portion of the increased sewer funding will be directed toward necessary repairs at the wastewater treatment plant. Addressing these needs now will help ensure continued system performance and water quality. In parallel, the Village is pursuing a $9 million grant to support broader upgrades and long-term improvements. While we remain optimistic about this opportunity, current repairs cannot be postponed.

   We recognize that changes in rates can have an impact, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain safe and dependable services for the community. Attention Village Residents and Business Owners: Friday May 15th, 2026 is tomorrow. If you DO NOT want to pay penalties on your bill, PLEASE come in today 9am-1pm or tomorrow 1pm-4:30pm. I will be leaving at 4:40pm to get to the bank before it closes at 5pm. AFTER May 15th you will have 10% penalty tacked onto your bill. If you pay your bill after the 15th, please reference your bill for the total AFTER May 15th.

Attention Village Residents: The Village Clerk has changed her everyday work schedule. She will no longer be available on Tuesday’s from 3pm to 7pm, but instead will be available from 1pm to 5pm effective May 12th, 2026.

The updated Clerk Schedule is now: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9am to 1pm, and Tuesday and Friday 1pm to 5pm

In accordance with the laws and regulations of the State of New York, Onondaga County, and the Village of Tully, this notice serves to inform all residents and interested parties that the Village Board has amended its regular meeting schedule.

Effective June 3rd, 2026, Village Board meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM, at the designated Municipal Building located at 5833 Meetinghouse Rd, Tully, NY. This change is made pursuant to governing municipal codes and is intended to promote transparency and accessibility for the public.

All members of the public are encouraged to attend.
